Get to Know the Team: Anthony Spruce

Anthony Spruce started working for Severs Australia very recently, joining our team on the 5th of March 2012.

Anthony is an integral part of our Support Team, positioned as our Technical Support ‘Guru’. Anthony previously ran his own business for five years in the Hunter Region of NSW, and has worked at AussieHQ as an L1/L2 Support Person.

He has also attained a Certificate IV in Networking and Systems Administration, and like many IT Gurus, Anthony has many years of self-taught, IT know-how which contributes to his professional toolkit.

We sat down and had a little chat with him recently.

Hey Anthony, how are you?

Yeah I’m going great thanks.

So you’re pretty new here then, how are you liking working with Servers Australia so far?

I enjoying playing with all the technology, provisioning new servers, and generally improving on my knowledge in systems and networks.

So this business you ran for 5 years, what did you do?

I ran a company for Computer Repairs, Upgrades, we performed 3rd party Server Management and got into PHP Development too.

How did you get involved with Servers Australia?

I have known Jared for a fair few years after working within the industry since I was 18, after spending time working on my own, I decided to move back into the industry, and contacted Servers Australia about a support job, and here I am.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Playing with all the brand-new technology!

Well I’ll let you get back to work, thanks for your time.

No worries, it’s been a pleasure mate.
