We've hosted for 12 years with dedicated servers in the USA. When we started, there was no chance of getting professional support in Australia. The support at Servers Australia for outside of business hours are phenomenal. The support staff are speedy and readily available with helpful insight and comment, compared to some of our previous hosting providers. Some hosting companies didn't have staff on standby, it took Servers Australia 30 minutes to an hour for the staff to arrive on site at a remote location. A few other companies support ticket support system doesn't even operate at night. Servers Australia's outside of business hours support is by far one of the best.

After being hosted in the US on a dedicated server with another provider since 2002, and gaining site membership from a handful of members to now over 22,000 members it was decided that it was time to move to an Australian host. This decision was based not only due to the fact that FordXR6Turbo.com is an Australian Ford Community but that with the increase in membership and features on the site we found the site slowing down quite significantly being hosted in the US and on a now aging server even though it was only upgraded a year ago.

After doing some research on several internet technology and hosting forums stumbled across Servers Australia. It was also listed in the top 3 hosting companies in a Google search.

After stating to the sales department of my requirements from a dedicated server point of view and receiving near or immediate response to my queries. As my US server monthly renewal was coming up it in only a few days time it was decided to take the plunge and move across to Servers Australia. Once signed up I was met with immediate response from the support department in the best methods to transfer the data from the old server to the new server and timings surrounding this. Peter and the support team from Servers Australia phoned me in relation to the data move and the status of how things were going providing regular updates even via email at 4am in the morning!

During the transfer we came into the some issues. The main site was over 18GB and due to the slow link speed of my US server was unable to be transferred. The backup file failed on several attempts by Peter to download the file and time was ticking away in regards being billed another month by my previous provider. By now my previous hosting company would have given up on me,, and said sorry there is nothing I can do. Peter from Server's Australia went out of his way calling me on his way home after work and advising me that a backup that I had that was successful could be driven to a colleague's business and transferred via a fast link to the Servers Australia data centre. The file was driven to the business and transferred successfully to the Servers Australia Data Centre. During the evening up until midnight Peter (who had finished work for the day) kept me up to date via SMS messages and phone calls as to the status of my data restore and that everything was going well. About 11pm the site was brought back online an hour or so before I had to cancel the previous provider's server renewal!

I have never in my life experienced customer service like this from any company and have had someone go out of his way to help a customer in this manner. The level of support by Peter and the team has been absolutely fantastic, the speed to the new server and support queries I have submitted have been resolved in minutes not hours and I am extremely happy with the service and expertise by the team.

I am very happy we have chosen Server's Australia as our hosting partner.

Ditto Offsite Backup

As a new cloud based provider we were concerned that we would not be able to afford to go into a facility that was secure with redundant power and network connectivity.

After meeting the Servers Australia team, I felt comfortable with their offering to us, knowing that whilst initially we were not on the fastest connection, we would easily be able to grow our business as we need to.

I have used Servers Australia for a short time and in this time I notice a HUGE improvement on the speed of services, uptime of services and overall support.

When I joined Servers Australia I was looking for what everyone was looking for. Better customer service and that is just what I got.

I believe that overall this move to Servers Australia has been in the best interest for both myself and my customers. In switching over it has not only helped me save a large amount of money I have also been able to reduce my prices to my customers as well.

The road to Servers Australia was a long and winding one for Epimedia. We dealt with many unsavoury hosting companies in the past - working our way up through reselling shared hosting, to managed dedicated servers and finally to equipment colocation. In dealing with other companies, we were usually impressed by the pre-sales but extraordinarily disappointed by the support. On more than one occasion (and by more than one other hosting company) I was told to 'submit a ticket' while calling a NOC about a dead server. Needless to say this is a deal breaker- our clients depend on us to deliver vital business services.

Before coming to Servers Australia we were having issues with our existing provider and found it very difficult to find a provider whom we could trust. We had used several providers in the past but met with little luck in terms of actually getting what was advertised and we also felt that we were being ripped off by many of those providers.

Servers Australia moved all our sites to their servers and since that time their service and Dedicated Server plans have got better which in turn allowed our Hosting Business to grow.
